Outside of my Global Studies Seminar work, I also exemplify the skills we focus in class in my extracurriculars (environmental change, sustainability, etc.) For example:

- Turkey Drive

   - ​Coordinate food donations for annual Thanksgiving-themed        philanthropic event and separate canned goods for Thanksgiving meals that go to over 200 families

- La Familia 

- Fundraiser for victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico

   - Collect school supplies, batteries, hand sanitizer, and other essential items in shoeboxes in order to support children in time for Three King's Day

​

- Child Reading Partners 

-  Reading once a week to at risk preschool-aged children in Bloomfield
